The Day After

Israel will continue to be a relevant news item in the media. Resolving the internal political situation must be a priority. A new government of national unity will have to be formed, consisting of members and parties that are not questioned by the majority.

The recent political experience prior to the war serves as an example to avoid repeating the same mistakes. It is essential to establish a single, consensus-based agenda that prioritizes physical, moral, and political reconstruction.

It is a priority to form commissions composed of recognized specialists in their respective fields and to implement reforms on issues that have practically demonstrated an inability to lead a modern country.

What Must Be Done:

* **A Formal Constitution:** Draft a constitution establishing that the State's primary function is to foster a prosperous society where social justice is understood as a way to meet the needs of all its inhabitants. To this end, it will possess legal instruments to secure the necessary resources for such a function.

* **Legal Reform:** Basic laws will be created or reformed to facilitate the work of the executive, legislative, and judicial branches. Without a suitable legal foundation, it would be like building on air.

* **Political System Reform:** A country of ten million inhabitants cannot exist with the current number of political parties. The reform of the political system will include a more demanding mechanism to prevent this.

* **Renewal of the Political Class:** This is necessary and healthy for the emergence of new minds that represent true change. It is essential for creating a civic consciousness that allows the population to regain trust in its representatives.

* **Ineligibility and Meritocracy:** Anyone who has held a high-ranking position in the past will be disqualified from running again. Ministers arising from the new political system must demonstrate a record of suitability for their assigned roles; if not possible, the position will be filled by public examination (competitive tender).

* **Loyalty and Accountability:** Those appointed to relevant State leadership roles must take a mandatory oath of loyalty to the country. If it is proven that someone violated this promise, their immunity and nationality will be revoked, and they will be tried by military or civil justice, as applicable. If sentenced to prison, they will be expelled from the country upon completion of their term.

* **University of Public Service:** A degree from this institution will be required to hold management positions in state agencies. Membership in a political party will not be necessary; jobs will be assigned by public competition. Tenure will be subject only to personal reasons or disciplinary causes determined by a committee of at least three higher-ranking members.

* **Electoral Lists:** Lists will be formed through internal party elections. Those elected will only hold legislative positions; only the Prime Minister will emerge from the majority of the popular vote.

* **End of the Coalition System:** The coalition system has proven ineffective and, above all, undemocratic, as the commitments made often do not reflect the party's ideology, creating confusion and discouragement among voters.

* **Security Forces:** These must be transformed to adapt to real conflict hypotheses. What has occurred will have consequences that promote change.

* **Arab-Israeli Integration:** Measures must be agreed upon with representatives of the Arab-Israeli society to create an atmosphere of proper coexistence, banish mutual distrust, and promote joint tasks in all areas. Viable integration will improve the quality of life for everyone.

* **Combating Antisemitism:** Taking action to create mechanisms that eradicate antisemitism from the face of the earth is a priority. A commission of notables will be created to debate probable causes and propose solutions.

* **Diplomatic Strategy:** Israeli diplomacy will aim to promote and disseminate these proposals to gain allies who drive initiatives in their respective countries, including educational actions to raise generations free from this evil.

 Israel in the Near Future

After the conclusion of the war against terrorism, the return of a peaceful climate will make it possible to implement the proposed reforms.

An expanded commission, composed of the majority of the ethnic groups inhabiting this land—with representation proportional to the number of inhabitants of each ethnicity—resolved, after an arduous and professional debate, the creation of the **United States of Israel**.

The reforms and changes carried out over the years have borne fruit. The old State of Israel has been transformed into the United States of Israel. The West Bank and Gaza have become an integrated state.

There will be no borders, and there will be a single army formed by inhabitants of the United States of Israel. Transit through the country will be completely free. Every citizen may live and purchase property wherever they prefer.

Each State is free to create its own governorships; its political structure will be unified and similar to that adopted for the entire country. Competitions for positions in national public offices will not take ethnicity into account.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs will be autonomous and independent of State powers. Each ethnic group accepts that legal matters will be addressed by the National Judiciary, applying the designated legal system. Budgets submitted to the parliament's economy commission will be approved or modified by legislators.

The educational system will contain unified, mandatory programs for the entire country. Religious topics will not be included but may be addressed by communities with budget allocations from their general funds or contributions from NGOs or individuals.

The national symbols and the national anthem will remain the current ones; this was agreed upon by the majority since the Constitution established the Jewish character of the State. This means the office of Prime Minister is reserved for the Jewish ethnicity, regardless of future demographic changes. Issues without consensus were resolved by votes that everyone accepted.

The integrated economy allowed for the creation of joint-venture companies, encouraging members of different ethnicities to fill the universities.

Traveling through the country, one notices that there are no longer differences in infrastructure. The community of Gaza prospered with the influx of investors and tourists eager to see what it had become without terrorist influence. In a short time, it became a global tourist attraction, benefiting the country as a whole.

Following a multi-billion dollar agreement involving countries desiring a peaceful and prosperous Middle East, Egypt sold the Sinai Peninsula to the United States of Israel. This vast territory was enough to create new options, decompress current population centers, and transform into a unique pole of development.

The resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict attracted the interest of countries that were simply waiting for this to happen. A cascade of normalization agreements followed, transforming economy, science, and culture with remarkable growth dynamics.

The factors that had previously prevented this no longer existed. A coup in Iran overthrew the Islamic regime of the Ayatollahs, leading to the disintegration of the jihadist groups they financed, and with it, an atmosphere of peace reigned throughout the Middle East.
